The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary is cooperating in safeguarding of interests with the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem Knights of Malta Federation of the Autonomous Priories

The Republic of Hungary and the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem Knights of Malta Federation of the Autonomous Priories are not in diplomatic, nor in consular relations. In Hungary the Federation maintains a public organization with humanitarian mission, operating in form of association.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has an excellent working relationship with the Federation in consular affairs, through their humanitarian actions they facilitate and complete in a large way the supply of the tasks in safeguarding of interests abroad.
