The Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) helped the endangered in Serbia – affected by the coronavirus – by donating a disinfection tunnel to the Clinical Hospital Centre “Dragiša Mišović”, a clinic for gynaecology and obstetrics. The donation worth €2000.
Sir Željko Gajić - Knight of Cyprus, Commander of the Serbian Unit of the Magisterial Guard of KMFAP, Ms. Maja Raković - Spokesperson of the IBSSA-AHTB Serbia, Mr. Ivica Dačić - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and Mr. Vladimir Đukić - Director of the Clinical Hospital Centre attended the event, when the donation was delivered to the hospital. In addition, television crews of Studio B, Tanjug and TV Pink were also present at the significant event.
Pink Television and Studio B followed this activity with direct broadcasting in the program, with statements of the Director of Clinical Hospital Centre, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and our dear Knight, Sir Željko, who highlighted the importance of such a donation for users and employees of the hospital centre, who are leaving work and hospital space to feel safer, while stating that “any help is more than welcome”.
Ms. Maja Raković, Spokesperson of the IBSSA-AHT Bureau, the organization through which the donation was delivered, also addressed the media, stating that this is a donation being directed to the health system and health institutions of the Republic of Serbia, emphasizing numerous other joint activities and donations, which were conducted during the pandemic, and more will continue as well.
The Director of Clinical Hospital Centre, Mr. Vladimir Đukić, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Ivica Dačić, expressed great gratitude to KMFAP as well as to the representatives of IBSSA, with the announcement of further cooperation to the mutual satisfaction.
