On 18 May 2024, the Istanbul Apparel and Clothing Exporters’ Association (İHKİB) hosted the 2023 Successful Exporters Award Ceremony in Istanbul to reward Türkiye’s Top Exporters. At this solemn event Mr. Mustafa Gültepe – President of İHKİB, who is also the President of TİM (Turkish Exporter’s Assembly) handed over plaques to those companies that ranked in the top 10 in their categories by contributing the most to the 19.3 billion USD export of the Turkish fashion industry in the year 2023.
Deputy Minister of Trade Volkan Ağar and Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) Chairman Erdal Bahçıvan also attended the ceremony.
During this ceremony, one of the companies of Sir Vecih Oudah, Knight Commander, Special Envoy to Iraq of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, Federation of the Autonomous Priories (KMFAP) – namely UBC İÇ VE DIŞ TİC. AŞ – also received the PLATINUM Award from İHKİB President Mr. Mustafa Gültepe and Deputy Minister of Trade Mr. Volkan Ağar. Furthermore, Sir Vecih was awarded as an extraordinary businessman.
